Ortio starts for the Flames.

Ortio stopped 20 of 23 shots in in a 3-2 loss to the Kings on Monday. Ortio has held the opposition to 2.24 goals per game in his first five starts, but that has only translated into two wins. He is a risky play on most nights, but playing him when he is starting vs. the Ducks is a down-right bad idea.

Ortio stopped 12 of 14 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Canucks on Saturday. It was a quiet night for Ortio, but aside from a 100-foot blast by Brian McGrattan, the Flames couldn't beat Eddie Lack. His fourth straight start will come vs. a Kings team who have won seven in a row while outscoring the opposition 20-9.

Ortio stopped 22 of 24 shots in a 2-0 loss to the Kings in his NHL debut. He will get his second career start tonight with the Senators in town. Ottawa sits 12th in the league in scoring (2.79 G/PG), so the matchup is not ideal. On a four-game night, Ortio could be your only spot-start option.
