Schroeder has recorded seven points (2G / 5A) in 13 games with the Monsters this season but has no points in six games with the Blue Jackets. His call-up suggests that Brandon Dubinsky won’t be ready for Thursday’s game after getting hurt in a fight on Tuesday.
Schroeder was recalled after the Blue Jackets moved Zac Dalpe on IR. The 27-year-old winger has not made his Blue Jackets debut, but has two goals and three assists (five points) in nine games with Cleveland.
The Blue Jackets acquired Schroeder from the Wild for Dante Saliture on June 23rd and inked the restricted free agent to a two-year pact yesterday. The deal is a two-way contract for 2017-18 and turns into a one-way deal in 2018-19. Schroeder has split his time between the NHL and AHL since being drafted No.22 overall in 2009 and has complied 40 points (17G / 23A) in 144 NHL games (w/VAN & MIN) and 195 points (77G / 118A) in 292 career AHL games.
Schroeder was in the lineup on Sunday, but will come back out for Chris Stewart tonight. Schroeder has not recorded a point in his last seven games.
Schroeder was sent to Iowa over the Christmas break, but returns to Minnesota and should be in the lineup on Tuesday. He has one goal in four games with Minnesota and another 18 points (6G / 12A) in 25 AHL games.

The Wild are banged up and needed reinforcements from Iowa, so Schroeder will make his season debut on Tuesday. Schroeder has just four points (2G / 2A) in 26 games with Minnesota last season.

Schroeder was a minus-1 in 7:12 on Saturday, he had been a healthy scratch in the two previous games. He was sent down and the Wild have recalled Christian Folin.
