Josh Harding News
Goalie Josh Harding skated in a track suit Wednesday to test his twisted left ankle.

Sounds like Harding is at least healthy enough to backup Backstrom. His .915 career save percentage indicates he may be worth a look if he ever stays healthy and earns a starting goalie gig.

Harding missed all of last season due to injury and has yet to shed the injury-prone label as a professional. His .915 career save percentage indicates he may be worth a look if he ever earns a starting goalie gig.

Harding has been relatively injury prone over his five seasons. After missing all of last season he was expected to come back with a bit of rust. No word on how long he will be out.

"Just to be back competing with the boys, it's been a long time since I've done that," Harding said. "Still working out some kinks, but ... it's holding strong."

Harding missed all of last season following an offseason injury. With Niklas Backstrom relatively injury prone and coming off his shortest season, Harding could see a bevy of playing time. His .915 career save percentage indicates he may be worth a look.
