Bailey signed with the Sharks in 2023-24 after the regular season had already started but still managed 59 games and 14 points (5G/9A) under his belt before the season's end and has earned himself a one-year, two-way contract to remain with San Jose. Bailey was a second-round pick in 2013 and has picked up eight points (5G / 3A) in 52 career NHL games. During his time in the AHL, Bailey has registered nine goals and 11 assists in 37 games with Rochester.
Bailey, who has 10 points (6G / 4A) in 27 games with Rochester this season will replace Kyle Okposo (concussion) in the lineup on Saturday. Bailey has seven points (4G / 3A) in 47 career NHL games with the Sabres.
Bailey’s two goals and one assist in 19 games with the Sabres this season, but heads back to Rochester so he can continue to play throughout their bye week. The 21-year-old has 19 goals and 10 assists (29 points) in 39 games with Rochester this season.
