Ramo has signed an amateur tryout contract with the Toronto Marlies.

Ramo has been skating with the Maple Leafs as he rehabs from a knee injury that he suffered last season. The Maple Leafs waived Jhonas Enroth yesterday and if Ramo is healthy enough and plays well with the Marlies they are expected to sign Ramo to be Frederik Andersen's backup.

Ramo will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL and meniscus damage.

Ramo suffered a knee injury last Thursday in San Jose and it was announced today that he will need surgery to repair meniscus damage and a torn ACL. He is expected to need 6-8 months to recover which leaves the Flames with Jonas Hiller and Joni Ortio as their goaltending tandem.

Ramo allowed two goals on 18 shots in the Flames loss to the Blue Jackets last Friday. Ramo has gone 1-4-0 with a 2.56 GAA and .917 SV% in his last five games. Tonight he will face the Sharks for the third time this season—he has gone 1-1-0 with a 3.58 GAA and .863 SV% in the first two meetings. San Jose comes in having alternated wins and losses in their last seven.

Ramo stopped 28 of 29 shots in the Flames win over the Hurricanes on Wednesday. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Ramo, who will make his sixth consecutive start tonight vs. Columbus. The Blue Jackets played last night, but come in having won three of their last four while averaging 3.00 goals per game.

Ramo allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Flames loss to the Predators last Wednesday. Ramo will make his fifth consecutive start, but he has gone 1-3-0 with a 2.70 GAA and .912 SV% in his previous four. One of those starts came against the Hurricanes 11 days ago. That evening he was pulled after allowing three goals on 19 shots, but he will look for redemption against Carolina tonight.

Ramo allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Flames loss in Dallas on Monday. He has lost two in a row and four of his last five, but he will still make his fourth straight start tonight. Ramo was great in his first start vs. Nashville and comes in at 10-6-0 with a 2.57 GAA and .907 SV% on home ice.

Ramo was yanked after he allowed three goals on 19 shots in the Flames loss in Carolina last night. Despite the rough outing, the Flames will give him the chance to bounce back tonight in Dallas. The matchup and lack of rest makes him a risky start, but Ramo is surprisingly 2-0-0 with a 1.92 GAA and .938 SV% vs. the Stars this season.

Ramo stopped 27 of 29 shots in the Flames win in Columbus on Thursday. After sitting for three in a row, it was a nice performance from Ramo, who earned himself a second straight start. It looks like the Flames will ride the hot hand, so tonight Ramo faces the Hurricanes in Carolina. Ramo is 6-8-1 with a 2.61 GAA and .913 SV% on the road this season.

Jonas Hiller has started the last three games, but he loss on Tuesday in New Jersey, so Ramo will get back in there. The Blue Jackets are a below average team, but assess your other option before immediately rolling with Ramo.

Ramo has won four of his last seven starts while posting an impressive 1.59 GAA and .941 SV%. Ramo comes into play at 10-5-0 on home ice.

Remember when Ramo was on waivers earlier in the season? Well, all of a sudden he is 13th in the NHL in Wins (15), 24th in the NHL in SV% (.913) and 29th in GAA (2.54). The Flames have been dominant on home ice, so start Ramo tonight.
