Ramo is the probable starter for the Flames on Tuesday.

Ramo was great in his season debut. He stopped 38 of 40 shots in a 5-2 victory over the Oilers. Jonas Hiller started on Saturday vs. the Blues, so it looks like the Flames will continue to split up the starts until one of the netminders forces his way into the number-1 job.

Ramo will start the second game of the Flames back-to-back on Thursday.

Ramo finished the preseason at 2-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .939 SV%. He finished last season on a strong note and carried that into the preseason, so we will see if he can continue to maintain that momentum. Both Flames' netminders played well in the preseason and it looks as if they will share the crease to start the season. Ramo will get the easier of the two games as he takes on the Oilers and Jonas Hiller faces the Canucks on Wednesday.

Ramo turned aside 24 of 25 shots in a win over the Oilers in his return to the crease on Saturday. The Flames have scored more goals than any team in the NHL since the Trade Deadline, so the goal support is there for Ramo, he just needs to hold down the fort in goal. That will be easier said than done tonight with the high-powered Sharks in town.
