The 28-year-old has gone 2-0-0 with a 2.78 GAA and .889 SV% in his two appearances against the Senators this season.

Overall, he was a steady 3-1-1 with a 2.33 GAA and .908 SV% in five January starts and will continue to get a run in the Devils’ crease with Cory Schneider sidelined.

Cory Schneider was handed the loss last night, so Kinkaid gets the call for his eighth start of the season tonight in New York. Despite a 5-2-1 record, Kinkaid has proven to be a risky spot-start option this season, but he did stop 29 of 31 shots in a 3-2 win in New York back in October.
