Bieksa has missed the last four games with a hand injury, but will draw back into the lineup tonight vs. the Predators. Bieksa, who has recorded two assists in seven games so far this season, will replace Jaycob Megna tonight and is expected to skate with Sami Vatanen.

Bieksa will miss his fourth consecutive game with a hand injury, but head coach Randy Carlyle did not rule out a possible return for him on Sunday. With Bieksa still out, Jaycob Megna will remain in the Ducks’ lineup.

There is no word when Bieksa suffered the injury, but it could have been on the “superman punch” heard around the hockey world on Tuesday. He logged 18:20 TOI in Philadelphia, so the hand injury was likely discovered post-game. The injuries just don’t seem to stop coming for the Ducks, who were just starting to get healthy on the back-end.

Bieksa missed the final nine games of the regular season, but it looks like he’ll be back in for Game 1 of the Ducks’ first round series with the Predators. Bieksa left the ice with the regulars this morning, which suggests that he will play. He had 15 points (4G / 11A) in 71 games this season.

Bieksa left Thursday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return and now he is expected to miss tonight’s game in Ottawa. With Bieksa out, Shea Theodore will be in the lineup for the first time since January 26th.

Bieksa will miss his second straight game with a lower-body injury. With Bieksa out, Clayton stoner will remain in the lineup and Simon Despres will likely play a larger role.

Bieksa got through another full practice on Friday and is expected to play on Saturday vs. Toronto. Bieksa has been out since January 20th with a hand injury, but it looks like he will be back in beside Luca Sbisa tomorrow. He has nine points (3G / 6A) in 45 games this season.

Bieksa underwent surgery on his hand and his expected timeline is 6-8 weeks. With Bieksa out, Frank Corrado is expected to continue to get a chance with the big club.

After being hit in the face by a puck on Sunday, Bieksa made a quick recovery and his vision is good enough for him to suit up tonight; albeit with a visor now. He will be paired with Ryan Stanton, who will also be back in the lineup tonight.

Bieksa said that the vision in his injured right eye has improved since yesterday, so he is going to give it a go this morning. He will try a visor to protect the eye, but this is great news for the Canucks, the original feeling was that the damage to the eye was substantial.

Despite taking a puck to the face on Sunday, Bieksa will travel with the team on their upcoming four-game road-trip. The trip starts tomorrow in Colorado, but there is no word on whether Bieksa will be in the lineup.

Bieksa reportedly left the arena with a doctor and there is a lot of concern about Bieksa's eye. It was a dangerous looking play and something that could keep Bieksa sidelined for a lengthy period of time. Expect an update on Monday.

Bieksa skated the last two days so he was expected to be in the lineup tonight, so his participation in warmups all pretty much assures that he will play. Expect Yannick Weber to take a seat with Bieksa playing.
