The Capitals' prospect is expected to miss the first 6-8 months of the 2022-23 season. It is a tough blow for the 22-year-old right winger who was selected 47th overall in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. He scored eight goals and 19 points in 63 games in 2021-22 in his fourth season with the Hershey Bears of the AHL.
