New Jersey has signed Kyle Criscuolo to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000.

Criscuolo had 17 goals, 12 assists, 33 PIMs and a -15 plus/minus through 60 games with both Grand Rapids (AHL) and San Jose (AHL) in 2022-23 and has signed a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 with New Jersey. The 31-year-old centre got to see a game of NHL action in 2022-23, picking up a goal and two SOG with San Jose.

Criscuolo has 11 goals, five assists, 14 PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through 27 games played with the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) and has been recalled to the San Jose Sharks for the second time this season. The 30-year-old has one goal in one game with the Sharks so far in 2022-23.

After three years outside of the Red Wings organization, Criscuolo returned in 2021 and scored 11 goals and eight assists (19 points) in 29 games with the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL). He's be back for another two years with the Griffins.

Criscuolo signed with the Red Wings after four years at Harvard University and played the first two years of his pro career in Grand Rapids (AHL). The 28-year-old had stops in Rochester (BUF), Lehigh Valley (PHI) and San Diego (ANA) over the last three years but now returns to the Red Wings organization. Criscuolo hd eight goals and 16 assists (24 points) in 47 AHL games a season ago.

Criscuolo's only NHL experience came in a nine-game stint with the Sabres during the 2017-18 season. The 27-year-old forward had eight goals and 16 assists through 40 games with Lehigh Valley (AHL) this season.

Criscuolo has registered 11 points (5G / 6A) in 14 AHL games this season. This is his first year in the Sabres organization after a few years with the Red Wings. Criscuolo could make his NHL debut Friday in Detroit.
