Turns missed Sunday's practice, but will play on Monday.

Turris missed Sunday’s practice with an upper-body injury but was back on the ice during today’s morning skate and said he is “fine” to play tonight. Turris had 13 points (8G / 5A) in his first 12 games this season, but has recorded just one assist in his last five games.

Turris, who scored his eighth of the season against Winnipeg on Sunday, leads the team in scoring with 19 points, chipping in offensively with 4-2-6 points in the club's past four games.

The elevated play with Spezza out of the lineup took some time but now Turris is playing like a 1B center and can safely be used as your backup center.

Kyle Turris seems plenty happy in Ottawa, and there's no better indication than his three goals and two assists in the last five games.

Turris has been a big part of the Sens stepping up their play. He now has four goals and 13 points through 17 games.

Center Kyle Turris will be looking to notch his first point since re-signing with the team on Nov. 22. Turris played a season-high 17:31 vs. the Red Wings on Thursday, but he did not register a shot on goal. He has taken six shots on goal this season, but only two in the past four games.

As we predicted, Turris hasn't made any impact in fantasy hockey or in real life. Keep him on the waiver wire for now.

Center Kyle Turris is expected to be back in the lineup after making his season debut on Thursday night at Winnipeg. Turris took a team-high four shots on goal in just under 12 minutes of ice time. He also won all six of his faceoffs.

Expect Turris to center the fourth line tonight. If he continues to play with more energy he may unseat a center on a scoring line.

As per return protocol, Turris will take baseline test after practice today. Could return to lineup tomorrow on Coyotes 4th line.

Turris probably pushes Kyle Chipchura out of the lineup. The former 3rd overall pick will need to earn a promotion in this lineup that was working well without him.

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have re-signed center Kyle Turris to a multi-year contract. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. The contract is contingent upon Turris passing a medical examination.

Turris-gate is finally over in Phoenix but his role with the team remains unclear. The youngster scored only 19 goals through 131 career games so his upside is also tough to determine. Expect a follow-up news item on his expected role with the club.
