Lukas Dostal News
Dostal will start Friday vs. the Flames.

Dostal will get the rare back-to-back start Friday after allowing three goals on 41 shots (.927 SV%) in a loss to Minnesota Thursday. The 22-year-old has been relied upon heavily lately due to injuries, which has led to his 2-3-0 record, 3.66 GAA and .904 SV%. He will face the Calgary Flames, who are also on the back end of a back-to-back after losing 4-3 in overtime to Los Angeles Thursday.

Dostal will start Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Dostal stopped 46 of 49 shots (.939 SV%) in the best start of his young career his last time out as he beat the Edmonton Oilers for his second straight win. The 22-year-old has been mediocre while filling in for the Ducks' injured goaltenders, with his 2-1-0 record, 3.73 GAA and .898 SV%. He should be busy yet again as he faces the Los Angeles Kings, who are ninth in the NHL in shots on goal per game (32.9).

Dostal will start Thursday in Montreal.

Dostal allowed five goals on 15 shots (.667 SV%) as he filled in rather poorly for an injured John Gibson in his previous time out. The 22-year-old has struggled in his two showings this year, with his 0-1-0 record, .849 SV% and 5.38 GAA. He will hope to push his numbers more in the right direction as he takes on the Montreal Canadiens, who are on a back-to-back after coming off a 3-2 loss to Ottawa on Wednesday night.
