As expected, Reichel only got a couple of games with the Blackhawks and is headed back for the AHL. The 2020 first-round pick has scored 11 goals with nine assists (20 points) in 20 games with Rockford this season.
Reichel was the No.17 overall pick in 2020 and is set to make his NHL debut on Thursday. Reichel will start his NHL career on the top line with Patrick Kane after posting 20 points (11G / 9A) in 20 AHL games. Reichel is only expected to play in two games before he heads back to the AHL to continue his development.

That's a terrific showing for a 19-year-old, who also had five points (3G / 2A) in seven games while representing Germany at the World Juniors. Reichel has a chance to break into the NHL in the 2021-22 season.
