Arcobello has yet to record a point in seven games with the Maple Leafs this season. He was placed on waivers multiple time last season, so this is nothing new for Arcobello. If he goes unclaimed, expect him to be assigned to Toronto (AHL).

The Predators had placed Roy on waivers on Sunday and sent him to the minors this afternoon. The Oilers did not want to take on another contract, which is why they sent Arcobello to the Predators instead of just claiming Roy on waivers. Arcobello has 12 points (7G / 5A) in 36 games with the Oilers this season.
Arcobello had actually earned decent playing time but acknowledged that he needs more development earlier this week. As a result, he gets demoted while the Oil call on more defensive help.
