Hanzal is dealing with a lingering back issue which ruined his 2017-18 campaign. It looks like that could happen again in 2018-19 as he has no timetable for his return.
Hanzal’s back issue continues to linger, so he will come out of the lineup on Thursday and the Stars don’t know when he will play again. Hanzal could be in and out of the lineup like he was last season.
Hanzal has played in six games after a long lay-off and will sit in the front-end of a back-to-back. Hanzal has been solid since getting back to 100 percent, scoring one goal on 14 shots and one assist in six games.
