Jones turned in a strong performance in a losing effort against the Coyotes on Tuesday, stopping 24 of the 26 shots he faced. Jones had made some strides in his game of late, posting a .923 SV% across his last seven starts. He draws an excellent matchup tonight against the Canucks, who are travelling on a back-to-back after losing at home to Florida last night.

Jones allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Sharks win in Anaheim on Sunday. Jones has started six of the Sharks’ last eight games, winning two of six with a 2.30 GAA and .923 SV%. Tonight he faces the Coyotes, who come in off of big win last night but on the tail-end of a back-to-back. Jones stopped 26 of 27 shots in a 3-1 win over Arizona back in late-November.

Jones allowed two goals on 19 shots in the Sharks loss in Colorado on Tuesday. Jones will be getting his fifth start in six games—he comes in having gone 1-2-1 with a 1.98 GAA and .934 SV% in his previous four start. The 28-year-old has gone 9-4-2 with a 2.52 GAA and .910 SV% on home ice this season.

Jones stopped 28 of 29 shots in the Sharks win in Columbus last Friday. After starting three in a row in which he went 1-1-1 with a 1.96 GAA and .942 SV%, Jones got Sunday off. He will be back between the pipes tonight against an Avalanche team that lit him up in mod-January, but who could be without both Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen tonight.

It looks like Jones will be back between the pipes tonight against an Avalanche team that lit him up in mod-January, but who could be without both Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen tonight.

Jones was excellent in Detroit but got beat up on pretty back in the shootout to give him three straight losses. Tonight he makes his third start in four nights and will be facing a Blue Jackets team that has lost four of six.

Jones allowed five goals on 23 shots in the Sharks loss in Colorado on January 18th. Jones went on to miss the next four games with an injury but it looks like he’ll be back in tonight in Pittsburgh. The 28-year-old has been disappointing over the last little bit and comes into Tuesday at 5-7-2 with a 2.85 GAA and .909 SV% on the road this season.

Jones stopped 35 of 36 shots in the Sharks’ win in Los Angeles on Monday. Aaron Dell started the tail-end of their back-to-back but they’ll go back to Jones tonight in Colorado. Jones hasn’t been in top form as of late but hopefully Monday was a sign of things to come. He will be facing an Avalanche team that is riding a seven-game winning streak.
