Jones’ struggles continued over the weekend, but the Sharks will go back to him tonight after Aaron Dell started on Tuesday. Jones is 4-5-1 with a 2.90 GAA and .911 SV% on the road and has a tough matchup in Toronto.

Jones has now given up at least four goals in six consecutive games, going 1-3-2 with a 4.08 GAA and .868 SV% in the process. This will be his third start against the Kings this season—he comes in 1-1-0 with a 3.19 GAA and .911 SV% in the first two meetings.

He has allowed at least four goals in his last five starts, resulting in a 4.09 GAA and .870 SV% while going 1-2-2. Tonight he will take on an Oilers team that has been playing better as of late, but are still just 6-4-0 in their last 10.

Jones allowed four goals on 24 shots in the Sharks loss to Minnesota last Sunday. Aaron Dell started the front-end of the Sharks back-to-back last night, so Jones will go tonight in Vancouver. He has struggled recently, losing four in a row (0-2-2) with a 4.18 GAA and .860 SV%. He has a good chance to get back on track against struggling Canucks team that has lost four in a row.

Jones gave up four goals on 29 shots in the Sharks’ loss in Washington on Monday. Jones has lost two straight while allowing a combined nine goals on 72 shots (.875 SV%). Jones comes into Thursday’s game at 6-4-1 with a 2.32 GAA and .919 SV% on home ice this season.

After a brief one-game absence, Jones return to the Sharks crease on the second-half of the Sharks back-to-back on Saturday. Jones allowed five goals on 43 shots in the Sharks’ 5-2 loss to the Lightning. He’ll be back between the pipes tonight in Washington and the 27-year-old comes in at 4-2-0 with a 2.07 GAA and .937 SV% on the road this season.

Jones missed Tuesday’s game in Philadelphia with an undisclosed injury, but Antoine Bibeau was assigned to San Jose (AHL), so Jones should at least be able to dress as Aaron Dell’s backup tonight. The Sharks have a game tomorrow as well, so look for Dell and Jones to split these two games regardless.

It was an ugly outing for Jones, who will get a chance to bounce back right away tonight vs. the Jets. The 27-year-old has gone 5-4-1 with a 2.57 GAA and .907 SV% in 10 starts at the SAP Center this season.
