The Ducks have sent Mason McTavish to Peterborough (OHL).
McTavish played nine games with the Ducks, so sending him back to the OHL preserves the first year of his entry-level contract. The 18-year-old had two goals and one assist with the Ducks after going No.3 overall in this summer's draft.
McTavish (lower-body) has been played on IR.
McTavish is still with the Ducks on their road trip but will miss at least two games after being moved to IR. Expect Sam Steel to remain in the lineup for McTavish in Winnipeg.
McTavish (lower-body) will not be in the lineup on Tuesday.
McTavish (lower-body) is questionable to play Tuesday in Edmonton.
