Veronneau was an undrafted free agent out of Princeton University, who had four points (2G / 2A) in 16 career NHL games with the Senators. He's spent the last two season in the SHL, most recently scoring 34 goals with 26 assists (60 points) in 51 games with Leksands IF.
Veronneau played in three straight games but was largely ineffective, so he'll come out and Mikael Boedker will draw in vs. the Blue Jackets. Boedker has been a healthy scratch a lot this year, so don't be surprised if Veronneau replaces him on Wednesday.
