Letunov was a second-round pick (No.52 overall) in 2014 and has scored 13 goals with 10 assists (23 points) in 60 games with the Chicago Wolves (AHL) this season. He will report to Hartford (AHL).

Letunov had one goal in three games with the Sharks earlier this season. During his time in the AHL, the 24-year-old has scored 12 goals with 22 assists (34 points) in 43 games.

Letunov was a second-round pick of the Blues in 2014 but was traded to the Coyotes in 2015 and to the Sharks in 2016. The 23-year-old has 10 goals and 20 assists (30 points) in 39 AHL games this season.
