Kesselring broke out in 2023-24 with five goals and 21 points in 65 games played and has earned himself a two-year, $2.8 million contract extension with the Utah Hockey Club. The 24-year-old is in his 2nd NHL season and has 74 NHL games under his belt to go with his 24 career points.

Kesselring will take the place of Juuso Valimaki, who is the odd-man out on Tuesday. Kesselring has an impressive return of four goals and five assists in 21 games this season.

Kesselring was a healthy scratch for Saturday's game against the Bruins but will return to the lineup on Monday in place of the injured Sean Durzi (lower-body). The 23-year-old defenseman has no goals and five assists in ten games this season.
