The Flames have acquired Michael McNiven from the Canadiens for future considerations.
McNiven was an undrafted free agent out of the OHL, who has carved out a nice career in the AHL and ECHL to date. He will likely report to the AHL but provides the Flames with some organization depth. He has gone 4-4-1 with a 4.04 GAA and .869 SV% in 11 AHL games this season.
