Goldobin has been outstanding in the AHL this year, leading Utica with 20 points (8G / 12A) in 18 games. He returns to Vancouver, where he had 27 points (7G / 20A) in 63 games last year and should be a middle-6 winger in 2019-20.
Goldobin missed 19 games last season but totalled 27 points (7G / 20A) in his first fill NHL season. The 23-year-old has had a difficult time getting the Canucks coaching staff to trust him full-time in the top-6 and that will be even more difficult after the additions of Micheal Ferland and J.T. Miller this offseason. Still, Goldobin has 15-goal, 25-assist potential if he plays a full season. However, he looks like the Canucks 13th forward as we approach training camp.
Goldobin has been a healthy scratch for the last three games but will replace Markus Granlund on Saturday. Goldobin has been decent this season, collecting five goals and 18 assists (23 points) in 44 games.
Goldobin will be scratched on Tuesday because “he needs a reset” according to head coach Travis Green. Goldobin has just one assist in his last five games.
Goldobin was a healthy scratch in Montreal on Sunday but will replace Brendan Gaunce tonight in Washington. Goldobin has picked up just two goals and two assists (four points) in 12 games this season.
Goldobin, 22, has had a strong start to the year with Utica, collecting seven goals and 12 assists (19 points) in 18 games. The Russian winger could make his season debut this afternoon and returns to the Canucks where he had three goals in 12 games last season.
Goldobin has been hit hard by an illness and has reportedly lost a ton of weight as a result. Goldobin is getting better and nearing a return, but he will sit out at least one more game.
Goldobin, 21, was a first round pick in 2014, but has only appeared in 11 career NHL games since. He has had a really nice 2016-17 season in the AHL, where he was third on the San Jose Barracuda in points with 41 (15G / 256A) in 46 games. He is expected to report to the Canucks opposed to Utica.
Goldobin, 21, has recorded 13 goals and 24 assists (37 points) in 43 games with the Barracuda this season. He had one goal and one assist in nine NHL games a season ago and his season debut could come on Wednesday.
Goldobin has one goal and one assist in five games with the Sharks this season. Despite being benched in the third period of Sunday’s AHL game, Goldobin was still recalled prior to Tuesday’s game vs. the Islanders. There is no word wether he will be in the lineup tonight.
