Berglund has been in and out of the Sabres lineup with some regularity this season and is now suspended indefinitely. The Sabres did not provide a lot of details on the situation so expect Berglund to be suspended for an extended period of time.

Berglund has missed the first eight weeks of the season after undergoing surgery on a dislocated shoulder in the preseason. Berglund will make his season debut on the Blues third line and comes into 2017-18 after recording a career-high 23 goals with 11 assists (32 points) in 82 games last year.

Berglund skated with Dmitrij Jaskin and Samuel Blais in Tuesday’s practice, so look for him to start the year on the third line. Monitor his status during Wednesday’s morning skate.
