Radek Faksa News
Radek Faksa (upper body) will be a game-time decision in Columbus Thursday after missing the last four games.

Faksa has not played since October 30th but is nearing a return after being a full participant in the Stars' last two practices. Faksa has zero points, averaging 13:24 time-on-ice through seven games this season and will likely assume his spot on the fourth line when he is able to return.

Faksa (face) is questionable to play in the Stars season opener on Thursday.

Faksa took a hard hit along the boards during last Tuesday's preseason game and had to get stitches on his face. He was not in concussion protocol, so there's a good chance that Dallas' fourth-line centre is available for opening night.

Faksa (lower-body) is doubtful to play on Friday.

Faksa left Wednesday's game late and did not return due to a lower-body injury. While he's officially considered a game-time decision, the Stars do not really expect him to play vs. the Jets. Look for Tanner Kero to replace him in the bottom-6.

The Stars placed Radek Faksa in COVID-19 protocol on Sunday.

Faksa was one of six Stars players added to COVID-19 protocol on Sunday and two more were added on Monday. As of right now, they are scheduled to play three games this week, starting on Wednesday but it seems likely that they are going to be postponed.

Faksa is unfit to play in Game 5 vs. the Golden Knights.

Faksa missed Game 4 and has already been ruled out of tonight's Game 5. Roope Hintz was banged up in Game 4 and is questionable tonight, so the Stars could be really thin at centre if he's a no go. At that point, they will likely go with 11 forwards and seven defensemen and we would likely see a lot of Tyler Seguin and Joe Pavelski double shifting on the fourth line.

The Stars have activated Radek Faksa (lower-body) from IR; expected to play Monday.

Faksa missed the last three games with a lower-body injury but will play tonight vs. the Lightning. Faksa, who will centre Andrew Cogliano and Blake Comeau, has 16 points (9G / 7A) in 45 games this season.
