Roman Hamrlik News
No Alexander Semin or Roman Hamrlik.

Hamrlik will miss yet another game so expect both Dmitri Orlov and Jeff Schultz in the lineup tonight. He holds no fantasy hockey value at the moment with only one point and a minus-10 rating. Wait and see if he turns his season around before picking him up.

Roman Hamrlik and Alexander Semin are with the Caps on their road trip to face the Florida Panthers and then the Ottawa Senators. Hamrlik missed the past two games with what coach Dale Hunter called a lower-body injury. He's officially listed as day-to-day, though he hasn't skated since Thursday.

Hamrlik is currently not practicing but could draw back into the lineup for one of the team's two road games. He holds no fantasy hockey value at the moment with only one point and a minus-10 rating. Wait and see if he turns his season around before picking him up.

"He got a cross-check and he's fine," the coach said. "He was not fine enough to play, but he, from what I've been told, is day-to-day."

Losing Hamrlik should cause the team to recall a defenseman from the Hershey Bears. Prior to getting hurt, the veteran scored one goal through 15 games. His injury creates a big hole on the Caps' blue line.
