Spooner missed Sunday’s game vs. Edmonton after suffering an injury in Friday’s game vs. Pittsburgh. Spooner has battled injuries throughout the 2017-18 season and comes into play tonight with just two assists in seven games.
Spooner missed Sunday’s game vs. the Oilers but is expected to draw back in on Wednesday. Spooner has had tough year with injuries, appearing in just seven games and picking up two assists in the process.
Spooner recently returned to the Bruins’ lineup but he was absent from Saturday’s practice, which has clouded his status for Sunday’s game vs. the Oilers. Spooner has one assist in two games while averaging just 10:32 TOI/GM since returning to the lineup, but he may not be available for Sunday’s contest.
Spooner suffered the injury in Vegas on Sunday and will miss at least one month. Luckily for the Bruins, it looks like Patrice Bergeron and David Backes are going to be back soon, maybe even on Thursday.
Spooner suffered the injury just two shifts into the second period and finished the contest with just 6:42 TOI. Spooner was replaced by Danton Heinen on the Bruins top power-play unit, so look for that to potential continue if Spooner is forced to miss any time.
Spooner will miss his second straight game with a concussion that he suffered on Monday. With Spooner out, Drew Stafford is expected to remain in the Bruins top-6 going forward.
Spooner was a healthy scratch on Thursday, but he will play tonight vs. the Canadiens. Spooner is expected to skate on the Bruins’ second line with David Krejci and David Backes. Danton Heinen will sit to make room for Spooner.
With Patrice Bergeron set to come back into the lineup, Spooner will be scratched after a disappointing start to the season. He saw his playing time drop under 11 minutes on Monday, so Claude Julien is obviously trying to send a message to his young forward.
Spooner missed Saturday’s game in Dallas with an illness, but he will play tonight vs. the Blue Jackets. Spooner has one goal and two assists since the All-Star break and unsurprisingly has seen his point production slip since David Krejci returned to the lineup.
Spooner has been recalled because David Krejci suffered an injury last night. If he can’t go on Sunday, expect Spooner to play. He has 26 points (8G / 18A) in 33 games with Providence.
Spooner did not record a point and had a minus-2 rating in his first five games this season. He was a healthy scratch in the last two games and played just 4:22 in his last contest. Expect to see him back with the Bruins at some point this year.
