Reinhart missed Florida's previous two playoff games due to a lower-body injury but will return for Game 5 in Carolina on Wednesday and is expected to replace Jesper Boqvist on the Panthers' top line. If the 29-year-old is forced to miss some time, it will be a massive loss for Florida, as the top-line forward had four goals and 11 points in 14 games played so far in the playoffs before the injury.

With the Panthers being locked into the third spot in the Atlantic Division's standings, the team is most likely just giving Reinhart the night off for Tuesday's regular season finale. Aleksander Barkov and Anton Lundell will also join Reinhart in the press box on Tuesday.

With Florida locked into the playoffs, Sam Reinhart took the afternoon off Saturday but will return to the Panthers' lineup as they take on New York on Monday. The 29-year-old has enjoyed another strong offensive season in 204-25, with 37 goals, 79 points and 209 SOG in 78 games played.

Reinhart did not play on Sunday for maintenance reasons, but he will draw back into the lineup on Tuesday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 29-year-old Reinhart is averaging 20:38 time-on-ice, recording 78 points (37G / 41A) in 76 games this season. He had 94 points (57G / 37A) in 82 games last season.

Reinhart absolutely exploded in his contract year, scoring 57 goals, 24 more than his previous career high. He also added 37 assists, to give him 94 points, 12 more than his previous career high. Reinhart was also very strong during the Panthers run to the Stanley Cup, posting 16 points (10G / 6A) in 24 games and scored the Stanley Cup winning goal. Look for him to remain on a line with Aleksander Barkov for the foreseeable future.

Reinhart missed the last three games while in COVID-19 protocol but will play on the top line on Tuesday. Reinhart was red-hot prior to landing in protocol, posting 14 points (5G / 9A) in his last 11 games.

Reinhart is an RFA, so he'll need a new deal with the Panthers but is a huge addition to their top-6 for 2021-22. Reinhart has scored 20-plus goals in four straight seasons, averaging 27 goals and 32 assists (59 points) per 82 games over that span. Whether it's with Aleksander Barkov or Sam Bennett, Reinhart should receive a big fantasy boost by moving from Buffalo to Florida.

Reinhart was missing from the Sabres' morning skate due to a minor injury and is listed as a game-time decision vs. the Islanders. Rasmus Asplund skated in Reinhart's spot, so look for him to play if he's out.

Reinhart remains day-to-day with an upper-body injury and will miss his second straight game on Sunday. With Reinhart out, Tage Thompson and Jeff Skinner took turns with Jack Eichel and Victor Olofsson.
