Timothy Liljegren will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday against the Minnesota Wild, allowing Mukhamadullin to re-enter the lineup. The 23-year-old Mukhamadullin is averaging 15:48 time-on-ice and is off to a strong offensive start this season, with four assist in six games.


Mukhamadullin has not played since suffering an undisclosed injury in San Jose's season-opener on October 9th. He played 12:45 time-on-ice and recorded two assists in the outing. Vincent Desharnais will serve as a healthy scratch to accommodate Mukhamadullin's return.



Mukhamadullin was a surprise scratch on Friday, with the team not announcing his absence prior to warmups. Vincent Iorio will dress in his place.

Mukhamadulin has been a regular in the Sharks' lineup the past few weeks but will return the the AHL. The 23-year-old defenseman averaged 15:24 time-on-ice, scoring one goal in 10 games with the Sharks.

Mukhamadullin will replace Marc-Edouard Vlasic on San Jose's third defensive pair on Tuesday in Vegas. Head Coach Ryan Warsofsky admitted on Tuesday he wanted to keep Mukhamadullin in the lineup every few games to keep him fresh. The 22-year-old has a goal and nine SOG in eight games played so far this season.

With Marc-Edouard Vlasic (back) making his season debut on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lighting, Mukhamadullin will be sidelined as a healthy scratch. The 22-year-old Mukhamadullin is averaging 15:27 time-on-ice and has one goal in eight games this season.
