Rempal is an undrafted 30-year-old forward that signed with the Capitals in the offseason after spending the 2024-25 season in the KHL, scoring 61 points (31G / 30A) in 68 games with Ufa Salavat Yulayev. Rempal failed to record a point in three games with the Kings, so he returns to Ontario, where he leads the team in points with eight (4G / 4A) in four games. His return to the AHL opens the door for Dustin Brown to be activated from IR for Sunday’s game.

Rempal, 23, had eight points (4G / 4A) in four games with Ontario (AHL) before getting called up, but has failed to record a point in three games with the Kings. Austin Wagner is expected to replace Rempal in the lineup on Thursday.
