The Capitals have signed Taylor Raddysh to a one-year deal worth $1.0 million.

After two and a half seasons in Chicago, Taylor Raddysh has joined Washington on a one-year deal worth $1,000,000. The 26-year-old right-winger was expected to break out in 2023-24 after a 37-point campaign the year before, but struggled mightily only putting up five goals, 14 points and a -19 plus/minus in 73 games played.

Raddysh (right quad) missed practice and will be a game-time decision on Saturday vs. Ottawa.

Raddysh missed practice on Friday due to a right quad injury and will be a game-time decision on Saturday as Chicago hosts Ottawa. The 25-year-old winger is having an incredibly disappointing 2023-24 season, with five goals, 11 points, 83 SOG, 12 PIMs and a -11 plus/minus through 49 games played. If he is able to go, he will take his usual spot on Chicago's third line and 2nd powerplay unit.

Raddysh (lower body) will return to the Blackhawks' lineup Tuesday.

Reese Johnson will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday, allowing Raddysh to return to the lineup after missing five games with a lower-body injury. Raddysh has 10 points (5G / 5A) in 35 games this season and is expected to play on the top line of an injury-depleted Blackhawks roster alongside Rem Pitlick and Philipp Kurashev.
