Tom Pyatt News
The Sharks acquired Tom Pyatt and a 2019 sixth-round pick from the Canucks for Francis Perron and a 2019 seventh-round pick.

Pyatt started last season with the Senators, where he had two assists in 37 games. He was eventually dealt to the Canucks where he played the rest of the season out with Utica (AHL), picking up 19 points (6G / 13A) in 36 games. The 32-year-old will likely report to the AHL to start 2020.

The Canucks have acquired Tom Pyatt, Mike McKenna and a 2019 sixth-round pick from the Senators for Anders Nilsson and Darren Archibald.

Pyatt has recorded just two assists, 29 shots and a minus-16 rating in 37 games this season—averaging 11:42 TOI/gm. Pyatt will switch locker rooms tonight but will likely serve as a healthy scratch against the team that just traded him. Pyatt could be on his wait to Utica (AHL) after clearing waivers at noon.

The Senators have inked Tom Pyatt to a two-year extension worth $2.2M ($1.1M AAV).

After spending two years in Switzerland, Pyatt returned to the NHL last year and registered 23 points (9G / 14A) while appearing in all 82 games for the Senators. The 30-year-old also added two goals in 14 playoff games and is signed with the Senators through the 2018-19 season.

Pyatt (collarbone) will be activated from injured reserve and dress in tonight's contest vs. the Hurricanes.

Pyatt has been out since October 8, it was the only game that he has played in this season. He has a career-high of 19 points (2011-12) so he is not a serviceable fantasy asset in any formats. Expect B.J Crombeen to come out of the lineup and Pyatt dress on the fourth line.

Tom Pyatt (collarbone) said he expects to be cleared to play by Tuesday's game at Columbus.

Pyatt was injured in the season opener and says he feels like I can play right now, but has not been cleared medically at this time. He has 47 points in 219 career games, so he is not a realistic fantasy consideration.

Tom Pyatt
Just received word on Pyatt, who is being listed as day to day with an upper body injury.

Pyatt suffered an upper-body injury in yesterday's game. He has five goals and five assists in 26 games this season. His status for tomorrow's games is unknown.

Tom Pyatt
Tom Pyatt, who played last season for the Canadiens, seems to have the early inside track on one of the other two openings, though more likely the Bergenheim spot.

On the fourth line, Pyatt will not draw much fantasy hockey value, if any at all. The diminutive forward managed four goals through 101 career games. His most impressive professional season has been playing for coach Guy Boucher, when he posted 13 goals and 35 points in only 41 games with the Hamilton Bulldogs.
