Jurco took part in the Red Wings morning skate, but won’t play due to an upper-body ailment. Jurco is expected to be replaced by Riley Sheahan, who should be returning from an upper-body injury. Jurco is day-to-day.

Jurco missed Saturday’s game after taking a high-stick to the face on Thursday. He will be back in on the Red Wings third line with Riley Sheahan and Teemu Pulkkinen.

Jurco left Friday’s practice early and will not be available on Saturday. There is no word on the nature or severity of the injury. Red Wings head coach Mike Babcock did not say whether Dan Cleary or Stephen Weiss will replace Jurco.

Jurco was a healthy scratch yesterday vs. the Bruins, but will get back into the lineup tonight vs. the Oilers. He had registered two assists in his previous seven games before being scratched. Expect him to skate on the fourth line with Joakim Andersson and Drew Miller.

Jurco goes from the first line to the press box in one game. Jurco will be replaced by Luke Glendening on the top-line and Teemu Pulkkinen in the lineup.

Jurco will miss his eighth straight game with a back injury that he suffered on January 6th in Edmonton. Daniel Cleary will play tonight with Jurco still out, but he is hopeful he will be back in the lineup on Thursday vs. the Lightning.

Jurco will miss at least the next three games with a disc issue in his back. Should be be shutdown until after the All-Star break, then he will miss at least six games. This should let the Red Wings take a long look at Teemu Pulkinen.

Jurco, who left Tuesday’s game early, said that his lower-back pain has been lingering for a few days. He thinks it will just be a day-to-day ailment. Joakim Andersson will replace Jurco tonight vs. the Flames.

Jurco suffered a back injury in the Red Wings win over the Oilers last night. After the game head coach Mike Babcock said that Jurco will not play on Wednesday in Calgary, so expect either Dan Cleary or Joakim Andersson to reenter the lineup in Jurco’s place.

Jurco is suffering from a rib injury that occurred in Tuesday’s 4-1 loss at Columbus. According to Wings general manager Ken Holland he’ll miss 10-14 days and then be re-evaluated. Teemu Pulkkinen will replace him in the lineup on Thursday.

Jurco left Tuesday's loss to the Blue Jackets with a rib injury. The injury will keep him out of the lineup on Friday, so the Red Wings have recalled Teemu Pulkkinen, who will take Jurco's spot and make his NHL debut vs. the Oilers.
