Krug is questionable for Tuesday's game with an upper-body injury.

Krug was forced to leave Sunday's game vs. the Flyers with an upper-body injury and did not return. The Bruins recalled Urho Vaakanainen from Providence (AHL) on Monday, suggesting that Krug will not be available vs. the Panthers.

Krug was forced to leave Game 2 after being crushed by Jake Muzzin and did not return. However, Krug was on the ice for the morning skate and is expected to be back on a pairing with Brandon Carlo and on the top power-play unit. Krug has had a solid start to the series, picking up one assist in each game.

Krug’s return would be a huge boost for the Bruins, who’s blueline is missing Charlie McAvoy, Kevan Miller and Urho Vaakanainen. Krug is coming off of the best season of his career, picking up 14 goals and 45 assists (59 points) in 76 games.

Krug suffered an ankle injury in the Bruins preseason finale and will be in a walking boot for three weeks. Krug will be re-evaluated after that period of time and his injury could leave the door open for rookie Urho Vaakanainen to make the opening night roster.
