Lewis will come out of the Flames lineup due to the birth of his child. Either Ryan Carpenter or Adam Ruzicka will draw into the lineup to replace him on Thursday.
The COVID-19 outbreak in Calgary continues as seven more players were added to the protocol list, including Lewis. That brings the total to 16 players.

Lewis has been out since November 13th and is expected to miss at least a couple more weeks after suffering a setback. The Kings recently added Nikita Scherbak and Brendan Leipsic, so their Kings bottom-6 will be O.K. without Lewis.
Lewis was banged up on a hit by Jared McCann last night and is questionable for tonight’s game. Head coach John Stevens said he though Lewis was going to be OK, but he is still questionable for Saturday.
Lewis, 29, had eight goals and eight assists (16 points) in 75 games with the Kings last season. He has spent the first eight years of his NHL career with the Kings after being drafted 17th overall in 2006. He has 89 points (35G / 54A) in 424 career NHL games.
Lewis is on the ice for Kings' practice this afternoon, but is not taking part in line rushes so he will miss his seventh consecutive game with the upper-body injury he suffered in the season opener.
