Poolman was a game-time decision earlier Monday before getting placed on the injured reserve due to an undisclosed injury. It is a tough loss for the struggling Canucks who are the only NHL team yet to win so far in 2022-23. Poolman had one assist through his first three games prior to the injury.
Poolman played just 6:51 TOI before exiting Saturday's game. The Canucks have yet to provide an update on his status however, they recalled Noah Juulsen from Abbotsford (AHL) on Sunday, suggesting that Poolman is going to miss some time.
