Tyler Seguin News
Bruins forward Tyler Seguin has four goals in his previous four games.

Seguin was held off the scoresheet vs. Ottawa but has 6 goals in 7 games in March. He isn't offering much value in the assist or powerplay point department but those opportunities will come as long as he keeps finding the back of the net. Playing the Panthers should help him increase that total.

Seguin was scratched for disciplinary reasons but expect him to get right back into the lineup. The sophomore has 13 goals and 25 points in 25 games but 11 of those points came in a six-game scoring binge.

Tyler Seguin took a slash on the right leg from the Sharks’ Benn Ferriero just before the Bruins’ pulled goalie Tim Thomas tonight and he did not return to the game, but he said he was OK after the game.

Sounds like Seguin will be OK and won't miss any playing time. Through seven games this season he has two goals and eight points. Expect a further update on how the Bruins will handle this injury.

Look for Seguin to slide into David's spot at center.

Moving up to the top line is certainly a boon to his fantasy hockey value. Through the team's first three games, the dynamic forward has three assists. He has a chance at sticking on the top line should he develop chemistry with Milan Lucic and Nathan Horton.

Seguin was expected to break out during his second NHL season but may experience some more growing pains on the third line. Last season he scored only 11 goals and 22 points through 74 games but broke out during the postseason. Expect a slight improvement on those totals.
