Foegele exited the Kings' 3-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday early in the first period due to an upper-body injury after only 1:29 time-on-ice. The 29-year-old forward had a breakout campaign in 2024-25, his first season with the Kings, scoring 46 points (24G / 22A). He has not had the same offensive prowess early in 2025-26, averaging nearly three minutes less ice time per game and scoring only one point (1G / 0A) through 10 games.

Fresh off the best season of his seven-year career and a Stanley Cup Finals appearance, Warren Foegele has signed a three-year, $10.5 million contract ($3.5M AAV) with Los Angeles. The 28-year-old ended 2023-24 with career highs in goals (20), assists (21), PIMs (47), and SOG (201) across 82 games played.

Foegele was amongst the extras at morning skate on Wednesday indicating he is expected to be a healthy scratch for Game 4 on Wednesday vs. Dallas. The 28-year-old winger has appeared in every game this playoffs for the Oilers, picking up a goal and three points alongside his 22 SOG and -8 plus/minus in 15 games played.

Foegele has missed the Oilers' previous two games with an undisclosed injury but will draw back into the lineup Monday as Edmonton takes on Los Angeles. The 26-year-old has four goals, three assists, 10 PIMs, 42 SOG and a -1 plus/minus through 28 games played.

Foegele left the Oilers' previous game vs. NYR due to an undisclosed injury after picking up an assist after only 10:32 TOI. The 26-year-old will miss Monday's content vs. Florida and is not expected to be out long-term which is good news to Edmonton as he has three goals and five points through the first 20 games of the season.

Foegele was one of three players activated from COVID-19 protocol on Saturday but only one of the three will play. The other two were Tyler Benson and Slater Koekkoek, so Foegele seems like the likely choice to play.
