Jared Spurgeon of the Minnesota Wild exited Tuesday's contest after being slew-footed by L'Heureux and did not return to game. Spurgeon was seen leaving the arena with crutches. L'Heureux was not issued any penalties on the play. The 21-year-old L'Heureux is in his first NHL season and has nine points (4G / 5A) in 33 games.

L'Heureux was on the receiving end of an illegal cross-check from Timo Meier and exited the game late in the third period. Meier was given a five-minute major penalty and a game misconduct. An update on L'Heureux should be provided ahead of the Predators' next game on Wednesday against the Philadelphia Flyers.

The 21-year-old L'Heureux was the 27th overall pick of the Predators in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. He had 48 points (19G / 29A) in 66 games with Milwaukee last season.
