Fabbri (lower-body) will not play on Thursday.

Fabbri was hurt in a knee-on-knee collision with Jack Hughes on Tuesday and will not play on Thursday. Fabbri was able to avoid serious injury, so consider him as day-to-day. Sam Gagner will make his Red Wings debut to replace Fabbri in the top-6.

Robby Fabbri
Fabbri was forced to leave Tuesday's game after a knee-on-knee hit from Jack Hughes.

Given Fabbri's history of knee injuries, it was obviously a big scare for the Red Wings. However, Dylan Larkin seemed to indicate that Fabbri was doing O.K. but head coach Jeff Blashill had no update on the winger. Expect an update prior to Thursday's game vs. the Wild.

Gibson led the Ducks onto the ice for warmups.

Gibson allowed six goals on 28 shots in the Ducks loss to the Golden Knights on Sunday. Gibson has lost five of his last six starts (1-3-2) while posting a 3.36 GAA and .893 SV%. The Ducks have struggled mightily in front of him, so it's probably wise to leave him on the bench against Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and the Oilers.

John Gibson

Stalock allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Wild's win in Edmonton last Friday. Stalock has played terrific in February, going 4-1-1 with a 1.81 GAA, .930 SV% and one shutout in six starts. Stalock comes in at 10-3-2 with a 2.12 GAA and .922 SV% on home-ice with a good matchup against a Blue Jackets team that played last night.

He’s gone 1-2-0 with a 4.04 GAA and .900 SV% in his first three starts against the Golden Knights this season.

Gudas will draw back into the Capitals lineup on Sunday.

Gudas was a healthy scratch during Saturday's game in New Jersey but will replace Jonas Siegenthaler in the lineup on Sunday afternoon. Gudas has picked up just one assist in his last 15 games.

Radko Gudas
