Galchenyuk was acquired from the Penguins on Monday night and will slot in for Jason Zucker in his debut. Galchenyuk, who is now with his fourth team in less than two years, had 17 points (5G / 12A) in 45 games with the Penguins this season. He'll skate with Luke Kunin and Mats Zuccarello at even strength and could see time on the second power-play unit.
Galchenyuk’s career has completely crumbled into pieces. After posting 50-plus points in two of his last three seasons with Montreal, Galchenyuk has been traded three times in two seasons and has just 58 points (24G / 34A) in his last 117 games, including 17 points (5G / 12A) in 45 games this year. He will likely fill a similar bottom-6 role in Minnesota. Galchenyuk will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of 2020.
With Kyle Okposo suffering an upper-body injury in Thursday's game, Dea returns to the NHL for the second time this season. Kassian was set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer but signs a four-year extension to remain with the Oilers through the 2024 season. Kassian has spent most of the season on Connor McDavid's wing and is on-pace to set new career-highs in goals, assists and points.
Kassian was suspended for two games for his altercation with Matthew Tkachuk but is set to return tonight. Coincidentally enough, Kassian returns just in time for a home-and-home with Tkachuk and the Calgary Flames. It could be an interesting night for Kassian, who has been held goalless in his last nine games.
Kassian will miss Tuesday's game vs. the Predators and Saturday's game vs. the Coyotes but is eligible to return following the Oilers' by week. Their first game back is against...Tkachuk and the Flames. Josh Archibald skated on the top line in Monday's practice and could replace Kassian next to McDavid on Tuesday.
Ladd has scored seven goals with two assists (nine points) in 19 AHL games before being called up following the Cal Clutterbuck injury. Ladd had 11 points (3G / 8A) in 26 NHL games a season ago.

Nemeth got an infection from blocking a shot vs. the Golden Knights and is expected to miss his fifth straight game on Thursday. Nemeth is hopeful he can return to the lineup in New Jersey on Saturday.
Nemeth was believed to miss Tuesday's game with an illness so it's strange to see him landing on IR. With Nemeth out, veteran Jonathan Ericsson was called up from Grand Rapids to take his spot on the roster.
Little was taken to hospital for stitches and evaluation after being hit in the head by a Nikolaj Ehlers shot on Tuesday. There is no word on how long Little will be sidelined but his move to IR means he'll miss at least two games. Joona Luoto was recalled from Manitoba (AHL) to take his spot on the roster.
Little had to receive 25-to-30 stitches to close a laceration and had to stay overnight for further evaluation. This latest injury effectively rules Little out for Friday's game and will likely sideline him for at last a few games.
Ladd continues to recover from a torn ACL and has been skating on his own. He's been sent to Bridgeport where he'll continue to get back up to game-speed before making an NHL comeback. Ladd has not played since March 24th, 2019.
Little was listed as questionable for Friday's game but head coach Paul Maurice told reporters that Little was feeling better this morning and will be a game-time decision in San Jose. Little is on a three-game point streak, scoring two goals with two assists during that stretch.
