

Viel has played a limited role on the Sharks' fourth line in his limited action in 2021. He replaced Kevin Labanc on Monday but the two will swap spots on Wednesday with Labanc recovered from an undisclosed injury.

Korpisalo suffered a lower-body injury in the third period of Sunday's loss in Tampa. With Korpisalo out for the rest of the season, Elvis Merzlikins will become the No.1 netminder and Matiss Kivlenieks comes up from the AHL to serve as the No.2.




Zacha has missed the last five games with a knee injury that he suffered on April 11th but will return to the lineup tonight in Pittsburgh. Zacha, who has three goals and three assists in his last five games, will return on a line with Nico Hischier.



Peeke has played in three straight games but will be replaced by Dean Kukan in the lineup on Tuesday.






Zacha left Sunday's game with an undisclosed injury and did not return. Zacha underwent some imaging on Monday and is meeting with team doctors on Tuesday, so consider him day-to-day until the Devils provide more information.

McAvoy missed the last four games with an upper-body injury but was on the ice for Tuesday's morning skate and could play vs. the Sabres. McAvoy skated on PP2 and comes in with 22 points (4G / 18A) in 35 games this season.
