Korpisalo will start Friday vs. the Canadiens.

Korpisalo allowed one goal on 30 shot in the Blue Jackets win over the Devils on Tuesday. Korpisalo has been playing great lately, stopping 93 of the last 98 shots (.949 SV%) that he faced. Additionally, Korpisalo comes in at 4-1-1 with a 3.20 GAA and .893 SV% on home-ice this season.

Korpisalo stopped 32 of 33 shots in the Blue Jackets win in Washington on Saturday. Sergei Bobrovsky returned to the crease on Sunday but allowed five goals, so Korpisalo will start for the third time in four games. He has won his last three starts, stopping 83 of the 90 shots (.922 SV%) that he faced.

Korpisalo will start Thursday vs. the Predators.

Korpisalo stopped all three shots that he faced after replacing Sergei Bobrovsky in Tampa Bay on Tuesday. With Bobrovsky “away from the team” on Thursday, Korpisalo will start vs. the Predators. The 24-year-old netminde has gone 2-1-1 with a 3.67 GAA and .872 SV% in five starts and two relief appearances on home-ice.

Arvidsson (thumb) will be a game-time decision on Thursday.

Arvidsson has been out since November 10th with a broken thumb but is expected to play vs. the Stars. Arvidsson was playing very well before getting hurt, registering eight goals on 34 shots (23.5 SH%) with five assists (13 points) in 13 games. He will skate with Ryan Johansen and Calle Jarnkrok on the top line.

Korpisalo will start Thursday in New York.

Korpisalo gave up three goals on 25 shots in the Blue Jackets loss to the Canucks on December 11th. Korpisalo has not recorded a win since November 15th but will get a second crack at the Rangers tonight. The 24-year-old allowed four goals on 19 shots in a 5-4 shootout loss to New York back in November.
