Mantha (concussion/ribs) was cleared for contact on Wednesday.

Mantha passed the concussion test and was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. Mantha is also dealing with fractured ribs and a punctured lung, so he's still going to be sidelined for about one more week. Mantha hopes to be back before February 15th.

Ritchie (knee) will be back in the Ducks lineup on Monday.

Ritchie has missed the last 19 games with a sprained left MCL but will play Monday in San Jose. Ritchie is expected to be on the second line with Adam Henrique and Devin Shore and re-enters the lineup with 10 points (3G / 7A) in 27 games this season.

Mantha (mid-body) will miss at least one more month; could miss the rest of the season.

Mantha, who has been out since December 21st, will be sidelined until at least late February. Head coach Jeff Blashill did not rule out the possibility of Mantha missing the rest of the regular season, especially when you consider that the Red Wings season is effectively over.

Farabee was called up from Lehigh Valley (AHL) and is expected to play Thursday.

Farabee had to be sent down yesterday to make way for Alex Lyon to backup Brian Elliott. With Chris Stewart clearing waivers and being assigned to the Phantoms, Farabee comes back up and is expected to play vs. the Canadiens.

Joel Farabee
The Flyers have sent Joel Farabee to Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Carter Hart will miss 2-to-3 weeks with an abdominal strain and that affected their cap situation. Farabee had to be sent down in order to call-up Alex Lyon to serve as Brian Elliott's backup on Wednesday. Chris Stewart was also placed on waivers, so expect Farabee to be recalled tomorrow once Stewart is claimed or clears waivers (most likely).
