Andersen stopped 26 of 28 shots in a win over the Blues on December 7. He gets the call in the second game of a back-to-back and draws a good matchup when he faces the Islanders.
Andersen turned aside 19 of 21 shots in a win over the Flames on November 29. THe next three starts went to Jonas Hiller, but Andersen gets the nod tonight. He has yet to face the Blues, but the 24-year-old rookie is 3-1-0 with a 2.01 GAA and .925 SV% on the road, slightly worse than his home numbers (4-0-0 / 1.36 / .954).
Stastny has missed the last two games, but will return tonight. He has enjoyed a great start to the season posting eight goals, 17 points and a plus-10 rating in 22 games.
Orlov was recalled from Hershey this morning and will be in the lineup tonight vs. the Islanders. He has three goals and nine points in 11 games with Hershey. In 65 career NHL games he has 20 points (3G / 17A).

Andersen will make his first start for the Ducks since November 12. He was recalled last week with Viktor Fasth out with an injury. He has won six of his seven starts with a 1.66 GAA and .943 SV% this season. He draws a strong matchup vs. the Flames.
Gardiner struggled against the Blue Jackets on Monday so he will take a seat to night in favour of Paul Ranger. Don't expect Gardiner to sit out too many games, but this coach Randy Carlyle sending him a message, that he needs more out of the young D-man.
Orlov has yet to dress for the Caps this season but has three goals and nine points in 10 games with Hershey. He will likely make his season debut on Wednesday vs. Ottawa.
In seven starts with Ducks this season, Andersen is 6-1-0 with a 1.66 GAA and .943 SV%. Viktor Fasth has been placed on IR and will miss the next 3-4 week, so Andersen re-gains some of that fantasy value he had earlier this month.
Still, the Sharks improved to 8-0-1 this season with Burns in the lineup. Burns has faced the Devils (tonight's opponent) just four times in his career, with one goal and one assist.
Burns has been scratched for the last 13 games, after taking a series of high hits that included a whack in the face from Ottawa goaltender Robyn Lehner on Oct. 12. He had four goals and four assists in his first eight games on a line with Thornton and Tomas Hertl, with seven of his eight points coming at even strength.
Burns returned to the top-line in practice yesterday which is a good sign. The Sharks will hit the ice for their morning skate shortly and we will have an update on Burns' status for tonight following the skate.
Burns has missed 13 games, but could be back tomorrow. We have been here before with Burns and this injury - it looks like he is close and then he doesn't play. I won't get anyone's hopes up, monitor his status following tomorrow's morning skate.
Wilson also said that there is a chance that Burns plays on Thursday, but that will be up to the medical staff. Burns was originally expected to miss only a few days with a mouth injury, but it has cost him 13 games. Consider him questionable for Thursday.

It sounds like Burns has had a setback in his recovery. He had shed the non-contact jersey, but putting it back on today is not a good sign. "There’s days where I think he’s really close, and there’s other days when you want to do some work with him and he doesn’t seem able to do it,” head coach Todd McLellan said.
