




Because he has not been vaccinated for COVID-19, Bertuzzi is not eligible to travel to Canada for Saturday's game in Toronto or Tuesday's game in Montreal. Joe Veleno has been recalled from the AHL and could replace Bertuzzi.






Maroon stayed back in Tampa to be with his wife for the birth of their child on Monday but joined his team in Pittsburgh and is expected to play Tuesday. There's no indication who will be scratched to make room for him.

Smith missed Sunday's game vs. the Sharks with an undisclosed injury that he suffered in Buffalo on Thursday. With Smith out, Oskar Steen is expected to remain in the lineup vs. the Panthers and Hurricanes.

Maroon and his wife just had a baby, so Alex Barre-Boulet will replace him in the bottom-6 on Monday. This will also make Maroon questionable for Tuesday's game in Pittsburgh.



Martinez fell awkwardly during Wednesday's loss to the Blues and did not return. Martinez was held off of the ice on Thursday and Friday and will not play vs. the Oilers. With Martinez unavailable, Nicolas Hague is expected to skate with Alex Pietrangelo.

Foligno left Wednesday's game with an upper-body injury and did not return. Foligno has been ruled out of Friday's game vs. Buffalo and Anton Blidh is expected to replace him in the lineup. Look for Karson Kuhlman to move up to the third line.

Kurashev will be replaced in the lineup by Dylan Strome. According to Jeremy Colliton he is scratching Kurashev because "he was one of our best forwards in camp and preseason. And we need him to get back to that level. Sometimes coming out is what you need to get refocused and back to the level you can play at.”

Bertuzzi will be in the lineup Thursday vs. the Flames, will miss Saturday's game in Montreal but will be back in the lineup for Sunday's game in Chicago. Bertuzzi is ineligible to play in Canada this season due to his COVID-19 vaccination status.
