On the front end of a back-to-back, Wedgewood will return to the crease on Friday against the Vegas Golden Knights. The 26-year-old Necas has gelled seamlessly with his new team, playing almost exclusively alongside Nathan MacKinnon, scoring 41 points (18G / 23A) in 41 games since joining the team last January.
