The Bruins were finally given the green light to call-up players from Providence after a COVID-19 breakout. Ahcan has picked up two goals with eight assists (10 points) in 19 AHL games this season.

de Haan only played 11:52 TOI vs. the Sharks and will come out of the lineup on Thursday. Riley Stillman is a game-time decision and may replace de Haan in the lineup. de Haan is day-to-day.
Mittelstadt (upper-body) will return to the Sabres lineup on Thursday.
Mittelstadt has been out since suffering an upper-body injury in the Sabres' season opener. On Wednesday, he skated on the third line with Zemgus Girgensons and Rasmus Asplund but should be back on the top power-play unit in his first game back.
The Avalanche have sent Pavel Francouz (ankle) to Colorado (AHL).
Francouz missed all of October and November with an ankle injury, so he will go to the AHL for conditioning. The Avalanche said that they will carry three goalies once Francouz is healthy. The oft-injured netminder has gone 21-9-4 with a 2.40 GAA and .923 SVS% in 36 career NHL games.
Cogliano left the team to attend to a personal matter.
The Sharks aren't sure when Cogliano will return but he is expected to re-join them during their four-game road trip.
MacKinnon (lower-body) is on track to return to the lineup on Wednesday.
MacKinnon has missed the last eight games with a lower-body injury but was a full participant in Monday's practice and it appears as if he will be ready for Wednesday's game in Toronto. MacKinnon was unsurprisingly back on the top line and top power-play unit on Monday.
