Francouz has missed the last two games but will serve as Philipp Grubauer's backup on Tuesday. Colorado will get both of their goalies back tonight, but look for Francouz to start soon to ensure that Grubauer eases back into things.

Drouin suffered a wrist injury during Friday's game in Washington, was placed on IR on Saturday and will miss several weeks after undergoing surgery on Monday. Tomas Tatar moved back to the top-line with Drouin out and Charles Hudon will likely remain with the team while he is out.
Hudon has played very well in the AHL, scoring nine goals with two assists (11 points) in 17 games this season. Hudon has played over 100 NHL games over the last two seasons but has just 39 points (13G / 26A) in 110 career games. He takes Jonathan Drouin's spot on the roster.
Drouin was levelled by Alex Ovechkin in Friday's game and did not return after suffering an "upper-body" injury. His move to IR means he'll miss at least one week or three games. Charles Hudon was recalled from Laval (AHL) to take his spot on the roster.
Kylington has scored three goals in three games since being sent back to Stockton. With T.J. Brodie out indefinitely, Kylington returns to the NHL, where he has one assist in 14 games this season.

Head coach Jared Bednar said that Francouz is "feeling pretty good" and maybe "only be out another day or two." With both of their top two netminders out, Adam Werner will start in Edmonton.
Cogliano left Wednesday's game with a lower-body injury and did not return. Dallas recalled Rhett Gardner from Texas (AHL) this morning, which puts Coglaino's status in doubt.

Georgiev has won three of his last four with a 2.48 GAA and .920 SV% but draws a terrible road matchup in Tampa Bay--the Lightning are 2-1-1 while scoring 3.00 goals per game in their four home games.
Francouz allowed two goals on 41 shots in Colorado's win over the Blue Jackets on Saturday. Since taking over for the injured Philipp Grubauer, Francouz has won both of his games while stopping 59 of 65 shots (.908 SV%). He will look to keep rolling in Winnipeg against a Jets team that has gone 4-0-1 with 3.00 goals per game in their last five outings.
Georgiev surrendered six goals on 30 shots in the Rangers loss to the Senators on October 4th. Henrik Lundqvist started the last three games but Georgiev will make his seventh appearance on Tuesday night. The 23-year-old is 1-2-1 with a 3.60 GAA and .887 SV% at Madison Square Garden this season and catches a break with Sidney Crosby, Patric Hornqvist and Kris Letang out of the Penguins lineup.
Francouz allowed four goals on 24 shots in Colorado's win over the Predators on Thursday. With Philipp Grubauer still out, Francouz will start for the second straight game. He has allowed at least three goals in three straight starts, allowing a combined 11 goals on 78 shots (.859 SV%). His numbers aren't great but the Blue Jackets are average on the road--going 3-2-2 with 3.00 goals per game in seven games.
MacKinnon was forced to leave Thursday's game with an upper-body injury but it was deemed "precautionary" so it's not a big surprise that he is expected to play Monday. MacKinnon was tremendous on Thursday night, picking up four points (1G / 3A) and 10 shots in just 14:28 TOI. He is tied for sixth in the NHL in points with 22 (9G / 13A) in 16 games.
Francouz allowed three goals on 28 shots in Colorado's loss in Arizona last Saturday. With Philipp Grubauer sidelined, Francouz should get a couple of starts this week, which makes him a worthwhile pickup for owners desperate for goalie starts. He has a .919 SV% in four appearances but the Predators come to town leading the NHL in goal-scoring (4.00 GF/gm).
The Flames want Kylington to start killing penalties, so he will head to Stockton to work on that part of his game. Michael Stone will draw into the lineup to replace Kylington on Thursday.
Poolman was forced to leave Saturday's game in Vegas with an upper-body injury and is questionable for Tuesday's game vs. the Jets. Luckily for Winnipeg, it looks like Nathan Beaulieu will make his season debut and replace Poolman.

Georgiev has been great lately, winning back-to-back starts while posting a .968 SV% and that has earned him a third-straight start on Monday. He is 1-1-1 with a 2.57 GAA and. 921 SV% at Madison Square Garden and will face an Ottawa team that is 3-8-1 while averaging 2.58 goals per game (25th in the NHL).
Francouz gave up four goals on 26 shots in Colorado's loss to the Ducks last Saturday. Francouz has played very sparingly early in the season but has played well when called upon--2-1-0 with a 2.63 GAA and .926 SV%. Tonight he faces a Coyotes team that is 7-4-1 while averaging 2.83 goals per game (19th in the NHL).

It was a terrific outing for the young netminder, who had a pretty solid month of October, going 2-2-1 with a 2.56 GAA and .924 SV%. As well as he has played, he'll be in tough on Saturday. Nashville is 6-1-2 on home ice and leads the NHL in goal-scoring (4.08 GF/gm).
