Landeskog (concussion) hasn't played since January 26th. It appears he will return to the Avs lineup this weekend.
The Avs could use the services of their young captain as they have struggled without him. Monitor his status in the next couple days to see if he will be in the lineup against Los Angeles, Anaheim or San Jose.
Landeskog hasn't played since January 26th when he was hit hard by Sharks defenceman Brad Stuart and suffered multiple injuries. The Avalanche need him back but aren't going to rush their young captain. It appears as if he is still at least a week away from returning.
Good news as the illness may have been affected Parise's poor play over the Wild last couple games.
Burns had been skating as an extra at practice but was paired with Stuart today which indicates he is nearing a return. He could suit up tomorrow for the Sharks, but nothing is official. Check back tomorrow for an official word on Burns.
Burns still isn't quite ready for a return but should be back in the next couple of weeks.
This will be the second game in a row that Landeskog has missed due to injuries sustained on the big hit he took from Sharks defenceman Brad Stuart.
Still no timetable for Burns return, but the fact that he is skating again is a step in the right direction.
Burns continues to rehab, but when he will be back on the ice is unknown. The Sharks are on a tear right now so I don't foresee them rushing Burns back and risk him re-injuring himself. For now just monitor his status going forward, and pick him up accordingly if he is still available.
This is good news for Red Wings fans, but Helm isn't fantasy relevant.
Landeskog took a big hit from San Jose D-man Brad Stuart on Saturday. He only has one goal on the year, and it is unknown how long he'll be out but it doesn't appear to be serious.
Helm had just returned from a sore back, but only managed to stay in the lineup for one game.
Helm's injured back is healthy enough for him to return to the lineup. Helm isn't fantasy relevant.
Helm isn't a great fantasy option, but if you have him on your team make sure he isn't in your lineup.
No change in news for Helm. Not a great fantasy option anyways.
The speedy defensive forward Helm isn't a great fantasy option when healthy.

As expected, Parise will line up on the Wild top line.
Parise, the most coveted free agent of the 2012 offseason, signs a $98-million deal, 13-year deal with his hometown and joins a Wild team that has shown limited offensive potential in the past.
Tough loss for the Red Wings. Rookie Gustav Nyquist will replace Helm in the lineup for Game 2.
